Allison Canter

Allison Canter advises businesses on corporate and commercial matters, combining her legal training with hands-on experience in client services and operations. She understands the daily challenges business leaders face and enjoys helping them find practical, solutions-oriented strategies.

Allison graduated from the University of Virginia and earned her law degree from the University of Kentucky, where she served as Articles Editor of the Kentucky Law Journal.

Allison is committed to her profession and community. She is a member of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar, and Virginia Bar Association. Allison also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA), where she has held leadership roles as Secretary and Vice President.

Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, hiking, and reading.
